Decree No 458/2000 - LEX RES II

Electricity Data Centre is a company established under the Energy Act  (Decree No 458/2000 - LEX RES II approved in 2023) with the aim of facilitating the effective transformation of the domestic energy sector. It will be responsible for collecting, standardizing, and sharing energy data. Its operation is a prerequisite for the development of community energy. EDC will centralize all information on electricity production and consumption at the household and large-company levels, as well as on electricity flows and sharing.
