Call for proposals for fast charging stations for electric vehicles

Ministry of Industry and Technology’s grant programme aims to ensure nationwide access to fast-charging stations for electric vehicles. A call for proposals was open from April to June where licensed charging network operators could apply for grants covering up to 60% of costs. This financial support increases by 20% for high-capacity units of 180 kW or more, reaching a maximum of 75% of costs. Subsidies also cover 50% of infrastructure expenses like distribution transformers, cables, and electrical panels.
