India Second Nationally Determined Contribution

India aims at reducing the emission intensity of its economy by 47% below 2005 levels by 2035, at achieving 60% electric power installed capacity from non-fossil fuel-based energy resources by 2035 and at creating a 3.5 to 4 billion tonnes of CO2 equivalent additional forest carbon sink by 2035.
