Lithuania implemented a programme to support the deployment of electricity storage facilities through multiple funding calls in 2025. The scheme includes EUR 45 million allocated in October 2025, EUR 37.3 million in additional funding following oversubscription, and EUR 18 million in earlier grants, with subsidies covering up to 30% of project costs. Eligible projects include high-capacity storage installations (typically ≥15 MW). Applications exceeded EUR 197 million, with planned deployment exceeding 1 700 MW and 4 000 MWh of storage capacity, aiming to enhance system flexibility and support renewable energy integration.
