Scheme for manufacturing capacity for clean technologies

The Hungarian government designed a USD 4.5 billion (EUR 4.1 billion) aid scheme to expand manufacturing capacity for clean technologies, such as batteries and solar panels, in line with the EU's net-zero transition goals. The initiative provides grants and tax advantages until 2030 to incentivise strategic investments in the production of net-zero components across the entire country.
