Incentive for the production of biogas and biomethane

The incentive provides USD 110 million (HUF 40 billion) in non-refundable subsidies to incentivize the production of biogas and biomethane, aiming to triple current output by 2030 and improve business competitiveness.

Applications for the funding round are open until January 30, 2026, and all supported projects must be completed by the end of 2028.
