Climate and Transformation Fund - federal subsidy for transmission network costs

From 2026, the four major transmission system operators receive a federal subsidy of €6.5 billion from the Climate and Transformation Fund (KTF). This subsidy replaces the former network charges, alleviated to reduce electricity prices for final consumers.
