Advanced CCS Projects Programme

The programme provides government funding for CCS project development, including feasibility studies and front-end engineering design (FEED) for CO₂ capture, transport and storage value chains. Initial support includes approximately ¥3.5 billion in FY2023 for project preparation, with multiple projects selected to advance CCS deployment and target 6-12 MtCO₂/year storage capacity by 2030.
