Regulation 82/2022 Protection of Vital Information Infrastructure

 The regulation establishes a legal framework and roadmap to safeguard electronic systems that are critical to national operations. Among the nine key sectors covered, transportation as well as energy and mineral resources are identified as critical infrastructure. Entities operating within these sectors are required to implement cybersecurity risk management practices, adhere to applicable security standards, and conduct annual cybersecurity maturity measurements.
