Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for Industrial Three-Phase Induction Motors

National Standard No. 7966 establishes mandatory energy efficiency requirements for three-phase electrical induction motors, which are primarily used in industrial applications. It is prohibited to import these motors if they have an energy grade lower than 'B'. As part of the compulsory regulation of energy label affixation, all units must display an energy label that meets national technical specifications, which is considered a formal part of the product's marking.
