Sembrando Luz Rural Electrification Programme

The Sembrando Luz programme was launched by the Venezuelan government to expand electricity access in remote rural and indigenous communities not connected to the national grid. Implemented by Fundelec under the Ministry of Electric Energy, the programme deploys renewable energy systems such as solar photovoltaic panels, wind turbines and hybrid microgrids to electrify isolated households and community infrastructure.
