Commission Regulation (EC) 640/2009 on ecodesign requirements for electric motors - IE3

The EU updates in this regulation minimum energy performance standards for electric motors:  

• From January 2015 onwards, industrial motors with a rated output of 7,5-375 kW must be of class IE3.
• From January 2017 onwards, industrial motors with a rated output of 0,75-375 kW must be of class IE3.
