Provincial support for hydrogen for data centers

The government has a target of 1200 data centers country-wide by 2032 Chungcheongnam-do province announced plans to use clean hydrogen in 3x300 MW fuel cells in Dangjin. The total project cost is KRW 4.5 trillion (USD 3.23 billion), out of which the fuel cells are KRW 2.4 trillion Gyeongsangbuk-do province approved funding for a 108 MW fuel cell in the Gangdong industrial complex. The total investment is USD 556 million with the amount of public funding undisclosed
