Climate Investment Fund for industrial decarbonization

Namibia has been invited by the Climate Investment Fund (CIF) to develop a Sectoral Transformation Investment Plan (STIP) — unlocking up to USD 250 million in catalytic funding for industrial-scale commercial projects that support Namibia’s hashtag industrialisation and decarbonisation ambitions. Matching contributions are anticipated from global development banks and financial institutions. Targeted applications are hard-to-abate sectors
