Maritime Decarbonization Strategy

Strategy includes the use of low-emissions fuels to decarbonize shipping. Some of the policy measures considered that could promote the uptake of low-emissions fuels include a GHG emissions standard which might be considered for domestic shipping emissions subject to consultation in 2026, carbon pricing to which shipping will be exposed to once shipping is included in the UK ETS
