New Industry Package (Nova Indústria Brasil)
Brazil is investing BRL 300 billion (USD 53 billion) from 2024 to 2026 to reindustrialize the country with a focus on productivity, sustainability, and innovation. Six priority areas include food, health, infrastructure, digital industry, energy transition, and energy security. BRL 17.6 billion (USD 3.2 billion) is allocated to energy transition, aiming to cut emissions, boost biofuels and EVs, and reduce industrial carbon output. Support includes grants, loans, and subsidies. A BRL 10 billion call launched in May 2025 in the Northeast invites business plans by September, with funding decisions expected in November.
