National Hydrogen Strategy
Draft strategy was open to public consultation from February to March 2025. The strategy showcases some scenarios for hydrogen development to 2050 with 2030 milestones. The scenarios are based on fixed technology penetrations by sector. Total investment needs are EUR 2.4 billion by 2030 and EUR 6.8 billion by 2050 for the ambitious scenario, while the conservative scenario has an investment of EUR 170 million by 2050. The 2030 plan covers 3 areas. Legislative framework; Communication and training; and Development of heavy-duty trucks and bus fleets. The strategy proposes actions for the first two areas: First, a legislative framework to be developed by 2027; Second the use of online platforms, social media, training and cooperation for communication and training
