Bill 52 - Energy and Utilities Statutes Amendment Act

Bill would remove barriers to allow hydrogen blending in the natural gas distribution system for residential and commercial heating. The blending limit suggested by the Utilities Minister was 5%, but this is not part of the legislation. The 5% is also the limit used by ATCO (local utility provider) in the pilot project in Fort Saskatchewan
