Oman Green Hydrogen Strategy

This document lays out Oman's National hydrogen strategy developed by Hydrom, government institution tasked with developing the strategy, that identifes "green" hydrogen production targets, electrolyser capacity needed, and renewable electrical capacity needed for 2030, 2040, and 2050. The strategy also introduces broadly the new public auction system for land for renewable hydrogen production, which is classified as "market strucutre". It identifies that there will be the following incentives with the auctioning of land: reduced land fees in development and construction phase and ICV incentive fee to decrease with increaisng level of Omanization. The strategy also ) broadly explains the long term vision for creating a renewable hydrogen and ecosystem within Oman and identifies different roles that national institutions will play along the chain
