The UK has allocated £27.8 billion through a new fund, with £500M for renewable hydrogen, £1B for carbon capture, £1.8B for ports, £1.5B for gigafactories, and £2.5B for green steel. The fund aims to mobilize private capital at a 3:1 leverage ratio and brings together the UK Infrastructure Bank and British Business Bank.

As of March 2025, £5.8 billion is earmarked for hydrogen, carbon capture, green steel, gigafactories, ports, and advanced manufacturing.
