Scotland - Green Industrial Strategy
Strategy to create the maximum economic benefit from the opportunities created by the transition to a net zero energy system. The strategy identifies hydrogen as one of the five priority areas. The supporting actions include R&D, investment, workforce and supply chain. It identifies broad actions which will be detailed in subsequent documents. These include measures to shift existing demand in industrial applications to low-emissions hydrogen, support the development of hubs (co-location of supply and demand), maximize export opportunities including partnerships with importers and infrastructure development, support the development of the hydrogen supply chain and support innovation
