Scotland - Hydrogen's potential and export plan
It showcases some of the current efforts and potential market outlook for supply, infrastructure, demand and enablers such as innovation, workforce and investment. It specifies 12 broad areas of action to achieve the export goals. Some of the aspirational targets include 5-GW of low carbon hydrogen production by 2030 and 25 GW by 2040. By 2045, Scotland could produce 3.3 Mtpa of renewable hydrogen with 2.5 Mtpa of that exported to the rest of the UK or Europe. No plans to develop a Scotland-specific standard and certification scheme but seeking alignment within the UK
