Auction for 1.2 GW of cogeneration capacity (1st call)

Spain is to hold an auction to assign 1.2 GW of new cogeneration capacity, the energy ministry said. The new capacity will be auctioned in three lots — 351 MW in 2022, 442 MW in 2023 and 407 MW in 2024 — with a view to all the capacity being online by 2027. The plants will have to be hydrogen ready for a 10% blend
