New Fuel Efficiency Standards for Passenger Vehicles

The new fuel efficiency standards for all type of passenger vehicles set targets for manufacturers and importers to achieve by FY2020, 24.1% improvement in fuel efficiency comparend to FY2009 levels. 

It also includes the adoption of a new Corporate Average Fuel Efficiency (CAFE) method.
