SOR/2023-275 Regulations Amending the Passenger Automobile and Light Truck Greenhouse Gas Emission Regulations

These regulations set greenhouse gas emission standards for new passenger cars and light-duty trucks beginning with the 2011 model year. In 2023, the Electric Vehicle Availability Standard introduced sales targets of 100 percent zero-emission vehicle sales by 2035 and interim targets of 20 percent of all sales by 2026, and 60 percent by 2030.
