Framework agreement (for land concession)

The Nassim project was initiated by BP in November 2022 covering an area of 11609 Km2 and a targeted full renewable capacity of 30 GW and has been transfered to SAHAMCO. A framework agreement was signed in May 2025 between the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum and Sahamco to develop a Green hydrogen project with a nameplate capacity of 710 ktpa or 4 Mtpa of Green Ammonia. This agreement grants Sahamco access to an area of 4500 Km2.
