Establishment of Approval Criteria for Procurement Costs of Synthetic Methane, etc

Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) clarified the approval criteria for synthetic methane procurement costs, to ensure that gas retailers can recover the expenses of H2 production, methanation, transport infrastructure and post-supply OPEX through gas transmission tariffs.
