Hydrogen innovation and demonstration

Support innovation and demonstration work, enabling the development or improvement of components and systems linked to the production, transport of hydrogen and its uses. The call is split in two rounds in Sept 2025 and April 2026 and will remain open until September 2026. This is part of the annual hydrogen budget that ADEME has which was EUR 20 million in 2024. ADEME covers up to 50% of the costs and the minimum share of private investment is EUR 300k. The research grant is meant to cover all the equipment necessary for the research excluding items like certification and standardization of the equipment among others. There are also caps to the share of management costs (7% of eligible costs) and salaries
