Gas Supply Act amendment

The amendment extends the Gas Supply Act (gasforsyningsloven) to hydrogen since 1 January 2023. The Act provides the legal framework for the establishment, ownership, operation, and regulation of hydrogen transport and storage systems. It covers technical requirements, third-party access, tariff methodologies, and system responsibility, and authorizes the Minister for Energy to set detailed rules as needed. As a follow-up the government will present a proposal for political review concerning ownership, operation and financing of the hydrogen infrastructure
