Green Shipping Corridor Program
Supports decarbonization of marine transport across key regions. Two funding streams:
Clean Ports Stream: CAD 127.2 million (2024–2028) for port infrastructure
Clean Vessel Demonstration Stream: CAD 22.5 million (2023–2028) for vessel technology
February 2025:
Up to CAD 25 million approved for Halifax Port Authority
Includes CAD 22.5 million to develop the Halifax–Hamburg green corridor, with plans for alternative fuel refueling and a hydrogen production facility
