Subsidy for ammonia production for shipping

Enova supports the establishment of bunkering infrastructure for renewable or low-carbon ammonia along the Norwegian coast. The program aims to enable the first ammonia-fueled vessels by 2027, with funding awarded through a competitive process based on project maturity, market potential, and cost efficiency. Up to 80% of the investment costs could be covered up to NOK 150 million. Eligible costs are bunkering infrastructure, construction and installation costs, costs associated with permitting and planning
