Direct grant for DRI+EAF in Bremen and Eisenhüttenstadt (Arcelor Mittal)

EUR 1.3 billion as a direct grant for a DRI plant and three EAF replacing 2 (out of 3) blast furnaces and 2 (out of 4) blast oxygen furnaces in the facility. COD: 2026. Capacity: 3.8 mtpa of steel. Project applied to IPCEI, but was more suitable for support under CEEAG (so not included in the IPCEI funding)
