SIGHT Programme - Component I: Incentive Scheme for Electrolyser Manufacturing Tranche I

INR 22 billion (USD 0.25 billion) over 5 years. A first tranche, launched in July 2023, was awarded to eight companies for 1.5 GW/yr. Two buckets of technologies, one (1.2 GW/yr) for any technology with minimum and maximum bids of 100-300 MW/yr and the second one for indigenous producers (0.3 GW/yr) with a max bid of 300 MW/yr.
