Grant for electrolysis under RRF

In April 2023, within the Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework, the European Commission approved an Italian EUR 450 million (~USD 474 million) scheme to support projects for the production of renewable hydrogen in brownfield industrial areas and in sectors in which emissions are hard to abate. The objective is to trigger a capacity of at least 1 GW of electrolysis. EUR 250 million are targeted to IPCEI projects
