Demonstration offshore hydrogen production

EUR 385 million for subsidy scheme + EUR 150 millon for transport of produced hydrogen (total approx. USD 606 million) to demonstrate offshore hydrogen production in combination with offshore wind. First tender for approx. 30-50 MW of electrolysis with COD of 2031. Tender to be launched no sooner then Q4 2025. Winner to be selected in the first half of 2026. A future tender for a second demo project (with an additional budget) of 500 MW to be developed by 2033
