Subsidy for clean trucks

The amount of the subsidy depends on the type of truck and the size of the company. Large companies can be reimbursed in total (subsidy and tax benefit) up to 40% of the additional costs compared to a diesel truck, while small companies (<10 employees) this raises to 60%. The subsidy scheme runs until the beginning of 2027. Currently, the pot is filled with a total of more than € 40 million, which will be available until 2024; the government is currently working on the design of the budget after 2024.
