NSERC $1.2m for research in pyrolysis

The Canadian National Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) and Mitacs Accelerate Grants Program awarded clean hydrogen developer Innova $1.2mn for a five-year research project. Innova will partner with the University of Alberta on a joint research project to study lower-cost methane pyrolysis catalytic reactors for hydrogen production and its applications for decarbonizing the Canadian hydrogen market. The research project will begin in March 2022 and conclude in March 2027.
