MiTE funds hydrogen R&D with EUR110 million from PNRR

The Ministry of Ecological Transition (MiTE) will partner with ENEA (National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Development) to conduct hydrogen research funded by a €110 million contribution from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), with activities running from 2022 to 2025. In total, Mission 2 of the PNRR allocates €160 million to hydrogen R&D, with the remaining €50 million designated for a call for tenders targeting research and academic initiatives.
