Renewable Energy Directive - National transposition of the transport target

Combined RFNBO and biofuels quotas in place from 2026 (1.25% in 2026, 1.5% in 2027, 2.5% in 2028, 3.75% in 2029, 5.5% in 2030) and 1% RFNBO for 2030. The regulation allows for the renewable hydrogen used as an intermediate products in refineries to count towards the obligations. Non-compliance penalties are CZK 2/MJ (CZK 240/kg, USD 10/kg). About 12-14 ktpa of renewable hydrogen would be needed to meet the transport targets
