The National Green Algorithms Program (PNAV) promotes sustainable AI by integrating environmental considerations into algorithm development. It focuses on research, efficient infrastructure, and market integration of green AI and blockchain technologies. It allocated around USD 280 million over 2023-2025 to foster R&D on the energy use of AI and the use of AI to improve energy efficiency.
