Future Strategy for Research and Innovation

The Future Strategy is the framework for the Federal Government's research and innovation policy during this legislative period. With its 2023 strategy, Germany aims to strengthen its competitive industry, climate protection, health, and societal resilience. It describes a "learning strategy" which is intended to adapt to technological and economic changes, including through continuous monitoring, stakeholder engagement and attention to international competitiveness.
