National Plan to adaptation to climate change

This plan contains measures to protect the population, develop the territory, improve the resilience of our economy, ensure the continuity of public services. This plan is intended to be revised every 5 years according to the reality of the warming trajectory and the evolution of knowledge. The reference warming trajectory for adaptation to climate change so far anticipates an increase in the average temperature in mainland France of 4°C by the end of the century. With regard to vitally important operators (OIVs), the transposition into French law of Directive (EU) 2022/2557 on the resilience of critical entities will make it possible to integrate these challenges into entity planning through the revision of national security directives.
