Modernisation fund - Decarbonization of industry II

The measure is part of the State aid scheme for the decarbonisation of industry from the Modernisation Fund, which aims to support decarbonisation and energy efficiency measures in industrial installations that do not prolong the use of solid fossil fuels, which will lead to a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, a phasing out of fossil fuels, improved energy efficiency, as well as a just transition in carbon-dependent regions. The measure follows on from the measure entitled Decarbonisation of Industry I. The announcement of calls and the implementation of projects are planned by 2030.
