State subsidies for family houses renovation

Pursuant to Section 9c of Act No. 555/2005 on the energy efficiency of buildings, the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic provides a contribution for the insulation of a family house. A contribution for the insulation of a family house can be provided to improve the energy efficiency of a family house by carrying out construction modifications to the family house, which involve an intervention in the building envelope structures by insulating the external envelope, roof envelope, internal dividing structures between the heated and unheated space and replacing the original opening structures of the family house.
