CO2 capture and transport for hard-to-abate sectors

In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 3 of Article 7 of Legislative Decree no. 181 of 9 December 2023, converted with amendments by Law no. 11 of 2 February 2024, the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security is preparing a study on the national supply chain for the capture, transport and storage of CO2 (CCS). The study is preparatory to the technical and economic regulation of the CCS sector.
