Aggregation of generation plants and users

Legislative Decree 102/2014 (transposed from EU Energy Efficiency Directive (2012/27/EU)) provides for the possibility of creating aggregates of generation plants and users for access to the aggregate offer and to provide flexibility services, entrusting them to entities capable of effectively guaranteeing such aggregation. Network operators must define the rules for organizing the participation of these new formations.
The Authority has activated pilot projects that will allow the acquisition of useful elements for the reform of dispatching and concern the participation in the dispatching services market, also in aggregate form, of demand and production units that are not currently authorized, including production units powered by non-programmable renewable sources.
