Consolidated Energy Law

On 30 December 2024, the Consolidated Law on Renewable Energy, Legislative Decree no. 190 of 25 November 2024, came into force, which regulates the administrative regimes for the production of energy from renewable sources. Regions and local authorities have 6 months to adapt to the new provisions, until 28 June 2025, being able to establish specific rules for the further simplification of the administrative regimes and/or raising the power thresholds envisaged, as an alternative to the application of this decree.
