The National Energy Income Fund is a public incentive, aimed at low-income families, which allows the installation of photovoltaic panels on homes, with a contribution of up to 100% of the expense. The goal is to reduce the cost of bills, thanks to the self-production of electricity. The National Energy Income Fund was established with resolution no. 7 of 17 March 2020 of the Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development (CIPESS). On 27 December 2022, the Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development finalized the financial structure of the MASE, giving the green light to the transfer of 200 million from the Development and Cohesion Fund which will go to feed the National Energy Income Fund. The GSE is the managing body of the "National Energy Income Fund", established with the Ministerial Decree of 8 August 2023.
