Incentive for biomethane and other advanced biofuels

The incentive has a duration of twenty years and is issued in the form of consumption certificates (CIC) for biofuels, therefore the burden of incentivization falls on the obligated parties. The Decree promotes the reconversion of biogas plants for electricity generation. A maximum incentivizable limit of 1.1 billion cubic meters per year is anticipated.
