Development of a fast-charging network for trucks along motorways

With the support of the federal motorway company Autobahn GmbH des Bundes and the National Centre for Charging Infrastructure, the BMDV has drawn up a concept for a nationwide truck and heavy goods vehicle fast-charging network along the federal motorways, with which the BMDV is also to fulfil its guarantee obligation to provide infrastructure in accordance with the Fast Charging Act (Schnellladegesetz). The tendering process for the construction of a fast-charging network for trucks along federal motorways began on 16.09.2024.
